SILKE Hair Wrap

At SILKE London, we only use the highest grade 6A long fiber 100% pure mulberry silk in 22-momme grade thickness, and nothing else will do.

This is because not only is the surface of silk completely smooth, ensuring your delicate hair cuticles glide safely under its protection, but it is also far less absorbent than other materials - so it won't strip away precious moisture and natural oils from your hair like cotton or synthetic satins will!

One-size fits all hair types, lengths and head sizes XS (20") to XL (26").

The one size has been created for all hair types, elasticated all the way around the head band to shrink and expand to fit all head sizes XS - XL, and with enough material in its depth to cover all lengths and thicknesses.

Synthetic fabrics tend to absorb moisture and oils from your hair, while silk helps retain and redistribute them - keeping hair hydrated.

Silk is also naturally hypoallergenic, breathable and heat-regulating - keeping your head cool and comfortable overnight.

Our wrap is designed to stay in place all through the night, which isn't always true for poorly designed synthetic alternatives.

Whilst sleeping on a silk pillowcase is great for your skin, it doesn't have the same overnight benefits for your
hair. 

As your hair is fully secured beneath The SILKE Hair Wrap it is less prone than even a silk pillowcase to the movements that cause breakage, tangling, and frizz – drastically reducing bed head and saving you time as you won't need to restyle as often!

Unlike a pillowcase, The SILKE Hair Wrap encases hair, so your natural oils are able to spread from root to tip – you no longer have to worry about dry, brittle ends, and oils are no longer concentrated at the roots – lessening the need to wash!

Silk is natural, breathable and heat-regulating - so it will not make you hot and instead will keep you cool and comfortable while you sleep.

Handwashing your SILKE Hair Wrap

We recommend handwashing your SILKE Hair Wrap for best results.

- Use cold to lukewarm water.

- Use a gentle pH neutral liquid detergent.

- Air dry in the shade. Do not tumble dry.

Machine washing your SILKE Hair Wrap

SILKE Hair Wraps are also machine washable, but it is important to remember that as silk is a natural fiber, it requires delicate care.

- Use a delicate machine setting with cool water.

- Use a gentle pH neutral liquid detergent.

- Place in a delicates care bag.

- Air dry in the shade. Do not tumble dry.

How often you wash your SILKE Hair Wrap is entirely personal preference and depends on your routine and hair type.

To protect the integrity of the silk, please do not soak, boil, bleach, wring, or leave the wrap crumpled in a towel.
